Seminar on the use of books in refugee camps

Intensive one-week seminars on the most effective use of books in refuge camps were held in Rome for professionals working for NGOs inside refugee camps and for teachers in schools with a high percentage of refugees. The seminars covered issues such as: why books, what books to use and how to select them, how to create the right atmosphere and assess children’s interest and attention levels and how to use silent books.
