The National Section of Vietnam is based on the Bridging Foundation Company Limited, which promotes children’s literature through publishing and reading promotion programs.

Its current activities include:

Encouraging authors in Vietnam to write stories for children
Dowa Hanataba Contest, coordination with JX Nippon Oil & Energy Vietnam Consulting and Holding
Publishing picture books (books translated from Japanese to Vietnamese)
Giving Ehon (Japan) books to libraries for free to children
Organizing reading books for children as free activities on weekends (mostly in Hanoi, since March 2014)
