Estonia
- Drawing competition related to the ICBD message: "Stories are wings" for children aged 7-12. The best 10 will participate in a workshop with Estonian illustrator Viive Noor.
Iceland
7 April 2022
- A new unpublished short story by children's book author Gudni Lindal will be broadcasted on Channel 1 (Iceland's national public service broadcaster). The author will read the story and will be followed by a short interview with him. The story is for all students in primary school (6-16 years old). There are also activities for the students based on the story that can be accessed online from the IBBY Iceland website.
Nepal
- Distribution of children's books to school libraries and discussions with teachers and students about the importance of books in the classroom, with the contribution of Room to Read (Nepal unite)
